Who Are We ?
‘A people made one with the unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit’
At St. Michael and All Angels, the church is the people and not the building.
We are the ‘living stones’ that make up the church:
we worship together, pray together,
have fun together, eat together,
look after one another and work together for the good of our community
and the building up of God’s kingdom.
None of us are perfect, but we seek to be a church that lives out God’s love for one another.
If we included everyone in the St. Michael’s family on this page, we wouldn’t have space, but below are our Clergy and those who serve on our Parochial Church Council.
Vicar: Father Felix Smith
Father Felix is the Vicar of St. Michael’s.
He’s originally from Wiltshire, and trained for the Priesthood at Ripon College Cuddesdon.
He’s married to Laura and has two daughters: Rosy and Edie.
He likes meeting new people, eating good food and making people laugh.
Canon Michael Hart
Father Michael, originally from Lancashire, trained for the Priesthood at King’s College London. After working in several parishes, Southwark Cathedral and as Diocesan Missioner he retired in 2015.
He likes having more time to meet people, cook, draw/art and travel.
